I bought this for my 9 month old and it’s a hit. The pages are just a quick two line rhyme and the illustrations are very colorful. There are talking points and information in back for parents. This book is more about starting conversations than it is about trying to explain. We are big fans in our house!!

THIS DAY IN JUNE is a wonderful book to read with young kids, offering lots of delightful text and brilliant illustrations as conversation starters, or to just enjoy in the moment. The celebratory spirit of Pride comes through loud and proud. Loved it.

Artwork is beautiful, message is fun! The resource section in the back of the book is profound! I ordered one for all of my nieces and nephews!

I was disappointed with the arrangements in this book. I didn't think they sounded particularly worshipful or appropriate for a church setting. Labrnske often interrupts the hymn tune with his overly repetitive musical motif. Instead of taking a hymn tune and building on the melodic ideas, it seemed he just added syncopation when it didn't fit or changed chords in strange ways. I really like Melody Bober's arrangements or the "What Can I Play?" series, but this one I sent back.

Many good arrangements to play at church. This is truly an intermediate book. I play late intermediate and can sight read many of the songs. Love that fingering is included. Most of the songs sound more difficult to play than they are. My congregation seems to like them.

This hymn arrangement book is awesome! I love each arrangement. There are only two or three I have never heard before. I highly recommend this book to pianist who are intermediate or even the advanced pianist. The chords are beautiful, the arrangements are simple, and I am very pleased with it. Advanced pianist can practice and play these songs for offeratories the night before or morning of.

Not really the type of arrangements I was looking for but it's ok.

Victor Labenske once again gives us a book with interesting rhythms and beautiful, modern chords. An intermediate to late intermediate player can spend only a moderate amount of time practicing, and you can have the music in this book ready for performance. The length of the pieces is good for church service performance (3 - 4 pages each). This book is also good for teaching students who wish to play in church.I bought this book for my daughter who is a church pianist also. I loaned her one of my V. Labenske books, and now she's a fan too.It is wonderful that his books always have a spiral binding!!! I recently bought a Sharon Aaronson book that I like really well, but I struggle with turning pages and keeping the book open because it is not spiral bound. When will they ever learn that pianists need for their books to remain OPEN when they are playing?!?!?!?! The only solution is to break the binding, but it still will never work as well as a spiral binding.

Very playable and good for offerings and preludes, the spiral bound makes page turning a breeze!

Quite a few of these are great for Sunday morning offertoroes. They sound nice but don't take a ton of time to prepare. Good variety in the arrangements.

I have several books in the Sacred Performer Collection series and this is one of my favorites. A nice collection for any pianist to have for preludes and offertories. The labeling Intermediate to Late Intermediate is accurate.

I picked up this book in a series of cookbooks about new cooking techniques. I had been recently experimenting with many easy prep-great tasting- style meals lately and stumbled upon sous vide. This handbook helped guide me in the right direction. I found the format a bit difficult when reading it on kindle cloud on my computer, but other than formatting issues it really came in handy. As far as device itself- I sort of chose this one out of the blue and I am glad because the Anova seems to be the easiest for a cook-at-home-kind-of-guy that I am. I love that I can throw it in the dishwasher. I wasn't sure that cooking this style could ACTUALLY produce great food, but it does! Prep work can be done well ahead of time and allows for easy meal preparation. Great book in an easy to follow format!

I have never in my life thought about using a type of vacuum to cook food. But, this gadget is beyond amazing! I am being so truthful when I say this. I have made a couple different recipes in this Sous VIde and they came out perfect. I didn't even need to keep checking to see if the food was done. That was one of the great things about this cookbook. Not only was it made exactly for the Anova Sous Vide, but it gives you helpful tips on how to use it and all the things you can do with it. I find very useful and recommend to anyone who owns this product.I am a sucker for short ribs, and one of my favorite recipes is the Korean Kalbi Short Ribs. This was one of the most succulent and easiest way to make these ribs. I know that I will be making this recipe over and over again. One of the other recipes I will continue to make is the Masala Chai Creme Brulee. I love how this gadget is so universal and I can make meats, from vegetables, rice, to desserts. Buy this book today. I know you will love it!

So to start off with this book is intriguing to me because it caters to the busy individual. If you do not have a lot of time to prepare food or cook meals, it is perfect! I also love that it caters to children and families. My favorite recipes are the ones that are low calorie with just a few ingredients. I love that the author focuses on meats and veggies.Most of these recipes take a very shorts time to make. This book introduces a uniquemethod and approach to cooking. I love how everything is clear and concise. The author is a simple, down to earth girl and that shines through in her recipes. I strongly recommend this cookbook.

I appreciate the price of this Kindle version, but apparently no one proof read before publishing. My fear is the measurements may be wrong also. Can anyone verify that? I will still try these recipes.

I found this book to be utterly useless and severely lacking in editing. For a book that offers advice on fishing it's remarkable that the first 30+ pages offers NO advice (other than generalities like be patient and you'll soon catch the big one). The author keeps emphasizing the importance of understanding the habitat and eating patterns etc. but offers literally no clues on how to go about doing that.Most of the advice reads like "throw your hook where the fish is". Really? You sure?The advice on equipment is in nutshell (summarizing page after page of drivel) "no equipment is right for everyone so just get something you like". That's real helpful advice right there.In addition the author constantly encourages the reader to be "adaptive" and "be prepared and think outside the box". Ok, thanks I'll do that.In addition, the book has apparently had no editing. For example, the (cryptic) explanation of what a Carolina Rig is reads "very similar to a Texas rig". You find out what a Texas rig is multiple pages later. Typos and elementary grammar errors are all over the place - like "fish are move when they feed".The book also has no illustrations of technical details (other than pictures of people with great looking fish - gursss they purchased another fishing guide).There are however some real pearls of wisdom here. For example, the "glossary to bass fishing" offers a definition of "adaptation" as "action that increases the ability to survive". As the author highlights fifteen times, that a skill all bass fishermen need. As do readers of this book.

Added bonus that I didn't realize before purchase: Not only does it contain the usual holiday markers (Labor Day, Christmas, President's Day, etc.), but important Hamiltonian dates are also marked (the birthdays and deathdays of Hamilton, Washington, Burr, etc., Alexander and Eliza's anniversary, and so on).

It's a Hamilton Calendar...what else do you need to know? Whether you're a fan or not, this calendar looks beautiful and has direct quotes from the songs on each month along with the actor that sung them. This also includes the last 4 months of 2016 (all on 1 page). If you're looking for a piece of this beautiful musical, don't throw away your shot on getting this calendar.

I AM NOT THROWING AWAY MY SHOT!

Sadly This is just way too small for my wall. I should have paid attention to see if the measurements were listed. The paper quality is also very poor. there are several pages that have parts of the picture worn away or not printed properly. The boxes are super small and I can't fit everything I want to write in them. Last complaint is that there is no hole on it to hang it up. I had to make my own using a nail since I don't have a hole puncher. :( I will be on the look out for a new calendar now.
