Nice profiles of outstanding leaders of our times and of times past.
The authors' use of well known leaders to provide support and examples for each attribute gives the reader a clear frame for understanding the attribute. This book is as much history as it is character study, but my leadership students really enjoy it.This book is a good springboard to begin to understand what it takes to be an effective leader.
If you are interested in building your leadership skills, you have to read this one. From MLK to Steve Jobs, from Churchill to Lincoln. Great examples of leadership are encountered among these pages.
This book is engaging and spoke to me as a leader in a way no other book has before. Reading this book makes me want to be a better person and strive for greatness in a leadership role.
